CHARLESTON, S.C. – College of Charleston Women's Basketball is set to face off against Elon on the road on Friday, Jan. 10 with tip-off scheduled for 7 p.m. ET. This game will be broadcasted on FloSports.

The College earned its fourth consecutive win and second consecutive conference win with a 84-73 victory over Delaware on Dec. 5. This victory marked the first time CofC has gone 2-0 in conference play since the 2009-10 season. It also marked the first time the Cougars have defeated the Blue Hens since 2015-16. Deja Ford led all scorers with 24 points, knocking down a career-best seven three pointers. Sophomores
Latrice Perkins and
Arynn Eady poured in 19 and 12 points, respectively. In addition, Perkins grabbed eight rebounds and snagged three steals while Eady stole the ball a career-high six times. The College shot over 50% from both the field and from three for the second straight game.

- Head Coach Robin Harmony has a total of 255 wins throughout her career.
- The Cougars started conference play 2-0 for the first time since the 2009-10 season. This also marks the first time The College has gone 2-0 in CAA play since joining the league in 2013.
- Latrice Perkins (14.4), Tyler Collins (13.7) and Deja Ford (13.8) lead the Cougars in scoring per game.
- Senior Deja Ford earned her first CAA Player of the Week honors for the week of 12/30 through 1/5 after scoring 59 points while leading the Cougars to three wins.
- Latrice Perkins has three double-doubles on the season while Arynn Eady has two.
- Perkins and Collins became the first Cougars since 2015 to score at least 29 points in a single game.
- The Cougars forced 33 turnovers against Coker on Nov. 12 which tied the most in a single game since 2010 when CofC took down Wofford.

Scouting Elon
Elon comes into the game with an overall record of 6-7 and a 1-1 record in conference play. In its most recent matchup, the Phoenix fell to league co-leader James Madison by a score of 61-48. The Phoenix took down Towson in their CAA opener by a score of 74-61.

Head coach Charlotte Smith, the sixth coach in program history, is in the midst of her ninth season at the helm of the program. She has accumulated a 154-113 overall record throughout her tenure. In 2016-17, Smith led her team to CAA regular season and tournament titles while setting a new program record for victories with a 27-7 mark to go with a 16-2 CAA record.

The team is led by Brie Perpignan who averages a team-high 11.5 points per game. Perpignan is the only member of the Phoenix that averages double-digit points.
