HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Dukes started the game off on a 7-2 run before Williams knocked down a triple to cut the lead to 7-4.
- James Madison ended the first quarter on a 9-0 run and extended its lead to 12 points.
- Taylor knocked down a mid-range jumper to start the second quarter and cut the Duke's lead to 10 points.
- The Cougars were held to just nine points in the second quarter, giving JMU a 25-point lead entering the half.
- James Madison led by as much as 37 points in the third quarter as CofC was held to just 10 points.
- CofC couldn't overcome a game-high 38-point lead by JMU but cut it to just 31 at the end of regulation.
