Cougars Fall To Wildcats In First Of Two-Match Road Stint

The short story: The College couldn't overcome slow start and couldn't adjust to indoor play as it falls to Davidson on the road.

OPENING SERVE

The Wildcats took the doubles point after earning wins at the No. 2 and No. 3 positions.
Halli Tirnkle and Eva Nyikos teamed up to take down Armas/Heiderscheit in the No. 1 doubles position by a score of 7-6.
Trinkle carried the momentum in her favor as she took down Truluck of Davidson in straight sets to give the Cougars their first point of the match.
Nyikos defeated her opponent in the No. 3 singles position in three sets to give the Cougars their second point of the day.
Davidson earned wins in the No. 1, No. 4 and No. 6 positions to seal the victory for the Wildcats.
