CHARLESTON, S.C. – College of Charleston Women's Tennis returns home as it plays host to CAA foe, Towson, on Saturday, Feb. 29 at 10 a.m. at Patriots Point in Mount Pleasant, S.C.

CofC enters the match with a 5-5 overall record and ride a two-match losing skid. In its most recent matchup, The College fell to Appalachian State by a score of 4-3. The match came down to the wire, but the Mountaineers came out victorious.

Freshman Halli Trinkle leads the team in singles play, holding an impressive 8-1 record, all at the No. 2 position. Junior Eva Nyikos comes in at second with a 6-3 record, all at the No. 3 position.

Trinkle and Nyikos have been dominant in doubles play as well, logging a 6-2 record when on the same court.

"It's great to be back at home after a tough road swing through the mountains and indoor tennis. Towson presents a tough opener to CAA play. Our freshmen are a bit nervous about this, but our upperclassmen are helping them adjust to the pressure of conference play. The season starts tomorrow."
