HEAD COACH ANGELO ANASTOPOULO
"Charleston Southern handled the beginning stages of the match better than us and earned the doubles point, but I couldn't have been more pleased with how the team responded in singles play. The girls built some early leads and put the match out of reach quickly winning four singles matches. Junior Eva Nyikos and freshman Halli Trinkle were dominant in both doubles and singles play today. I'm incredibly proud of the team for winning the Battle of the Lowcountry. After a day's rest, we will begin to prepare for a very difficult and talented Charlotte team."
