CHARLESTON, S.C. – College of Charleston Women's Basketball looks to bounce back from a loss at home to William & Mary with a matchup against Elon on Sunday, Feb. 9 at 1 p.m. This game's promotion is the Play4Kay Pink Game in an effort to spread awareness of breast cancer.

Last Outing
The College nearly got over the hump to defeat William & Mary on Friday, Feb. 7 but its comeback attempt late in the fourth quarter fell short and the Cougars fell by a score of 70-64. Sophomore Latrice Perkins scored a team-high 23 points and grabbed five rebounds in the process. That marks her third 20+ point game of the season. Fellow sophomore Arynn Eady had a big game as well with her fourth double-double of the season with 11 points as she also tied her career-high in rebounds with 18. Senior Deja Ford poured in 18 points and seven rebounds, making herself only three points shy of reaching the 1,000-point club. The game was a back-and-forth scoring affair with the Tribe taking control in the fourth quarter. In the last four minutes of the game, W&M went on a 7-0 to take a five-point lead that it never gave up. Despite clutch shots by Ford and sophomore Tyler Collins, the Tribe converted on their free throw attempts and sealed the regular season series.
