HEAD COACH ROBIN HARMONY
"I think that we played really good basketball for 25 minutes. Then, starting the third quarter, we missed two free throws, let them get behind us for a layup for a four-point swing, we made another mistake on offense and then they came down and hit a three. That was a seven-point swing right there and that was pretty much the end of it. It's disappointing because our kids really didn't fight. When they got popped again in the nose, they just went through the motions. They might not have gotten a call they thought they should have got, and they just pretty much just packed it in on us. That was the disappointing part. We have to learn from this and we have to get better. We're still young, though. We just need to get that fight back in us. It's just something we have to do to them in practice."
WHAT'S NEXT
The Cougars return to action as they trek north to face off against James Madison on Friday, Feb. 14 with tip-off scheduled for noon.
