Notes and Nuggets
• The tie with Hofstra got CofC out of the loss column in CAA action, but they can pick up their first conference win against a Delaware team that has limped its way to an 0-5 mark in league play
• Senior Liam Hudock, a native of Mt. Pleasant, supplied the heroics in the match against Hofstra. Hudock scored the equalizer with less than a minute to go in regulation
• On the goal, Hudock picked up the first score of his career and junior Cas Van Altena recorded his first career assist
• After a 2020 campaign that saw just three different Cougars score a goal, CofC has six unique goal scorers this season
About the Blue Hens
• Delaware is 1-9-1 overall and winless (0-5) in conference play, finding itself at the bottom of the CAA standings
• The Blue Hens have not won on their home pitch this season, with their lone win coming on the road at UMBC
• Delaware is led in goals by Carlos Fernandez and Einar Hardarson
Cougars vs. Pride
• The College of Charleston is looking for its first ever win over Delaware. The Blue Hens own a 5-0-3 record against CofC
