
Cougars Will Host UNCW, Honor Seniors on Saturday

CHARLESTON, S.C. – The College of Charleston men's soccer team (4-5-3, 1-4-1) will return home on Saturday night to host the UNC-Wilmington Seahawks on Saturday night at Patriots Point. The game will kick off at 7 p.m., with a senior day ceremony occurring before the match.

• The game winner at Delaware was an incredible header delivered by Nick Burnz off a free kick from Cas Van Altena. Burnz was substituted into the game at the beginning of extra time after not seeing the field in regulation, but made the most of his opportunity and scored his second goal of the season
• It was the first CAA win of the season for the Cougars, and the first ever win for CofC over Delaware
• Jake Nicholson recorded an assist and a goal in the match, while Conner Walmsley notched two assists. The only other Cougar to total two assists in a match this year is Rio Murray, who accomplished the feat in a 5-3 win at UNC-Asheville
• It was the largest comeback win for the program since at least 2004
