TOWSON, MD. – Arynn Eady scored a season-high 20 points and was joined by three other College of Charleston players in double figures in an 84-63 loss to Towson on Sunday at SECU Arena.

Eady hit eight field goals and all four free throws to come within two points of her career high set against NC Central in November 19. She had 16 in the first half as the Cougars (6-6, 2-4 CAA) trailed by only five at intermission.

Amira Williams added 13 points, and Tyler Gray and Chelsea Wooten both had 10. Williams led CofC with eight rebounds, one more than Eady, and added a pair of steals.

Kionna Jeter led the Tigers (9-3, 4-1) with a career-high 37 points, Aleah Nelson Had 17 and Shavonne Smith contributed 10. Jeter began the weekend ranked sixth in the nation in scoring and had 65 points in the two games against the Cougars.

Down 38-33 at halftime, CofC scored six of the first nine points of the third quarter, pulling within 41-39 on a layup by Williams. But Towson responded with a 13-0 run and was not threatened the rest of the way.

The Cougars remain on the road next weekend with a pair of games at Elon.
