STATESBORO, GA. – College of Charleston lost to Winthrop, 7-2, and Georgia Southern, 2-1, to wrap up play at the Eagle Round Robin on Sunday in Statesboro, Ga.
Riley Miller hit a leadoff homer in the second inning to tie Winthrop at one before the Eagles scored a pair of runs in the fourth and three more in the fifth, including a two-run homer by Ansley Gilreath.
CofC added its final run in the seventh when
Payton Wade hit her second round tripper of the season.

Georgia Southern took a 2-0 lead in the third when Bailee Wilson hit a two-run homer.

Payton Lemire went the distance, allowing six hits and no earned runs while striking out four.
CofC is back in action next weekend with five games in three days in North Carolina beginning with a three-game series at UNCG on Friday and Saturday.
