Quoting Head Coach Amy Seago on the Women's Race
"I thought the women executed pretty well today. This course traditionally goes out fast. Some years that scares us, and we aren't mentally prepared for it. I was pleased with how we responded in that regard. I'm also pleased with the teamwork in our packs. We have a lot of work ahead of us, but I think we took a positive step forward today."
Quoting Assistant Coach Chris Bailey on the Men's Race
"Our men did a great job in packing up and running as a team. Once we can get everyone healthy, I think we'll see our packs move up further in the field."
Up Next
The Cougars are off next weekend before competing in the Chanticleer Challenge on Oct. 1 in Conway, S.C.
