Cougars Come Up Short in CAA Home Opener With Elon

CHARLESTON, S.C. --- The College of Charleston men's soccer team (2-2-2, 0-2) fell behind midway through the first half and was unable to counter in a 1-0 loss to Elon (4-3, 2-0) at Patriots Point on Saturday afternoon. It was the first home CAA match for the Cougars.
The Phoenix found the back of the net in the 27th minute to grab a 1-0 lead. CofC was unable to produce an equalizer.
The loss drops CofC to 0-2 in CAA play, while Elon goes to 2-0.
