CHARLESTON, S.C. --- Claire Campbell and
Lexi Wierzbicki combined for 19 kills and just one error to power College of Charleston to a second straight sweep of Northeastern on Sunday afternoon in TD Arena.
With the win, College of Charleston (9-12, 4-4 CAA) moves into a three-way tie for fifth in the CAA standings alongside William & Mary and Northeastern (7-10, 4-4 CAA). The Cougars won the match by scores of 25-21, 25-18 and 26-24 to secure their second weekend sweep in league play. Charleston combined for 45 kills, 13 blocks and a .293 hitting percentage as a team while limiting Northeastern to 40 kills, four blocks and a .202 clip on the attack.
