CHARLESTON, S.C. -- The College of Charleston men's tennis team swept Washington & Lee, 7-0, in its home opener on Thursday afternoon at the CofC Tennis Center at Patriots Point.
The doubles partners of
Zac Larke/
Robby Krick and
Brolin Dorsey/
Andre Limon each won their matches 6-3, while
Jake Fraunfelder/
Noah Borges took their match 7-5.
In singles, the Cougars won in two sets in all but one match. The Cougars breezed through matches on courts one and two, with
Zac Larke and
Robby Krick winning 6-2, 6-1 and 6-1, 6-2, respectively.
After victories by
Matias Gaedechens,
Johnny Wang, and
Andre Limon,
Noah Borges won a 10-6 tiebreaker to earn the Cougars the clean sweep.
