Biography
GRADUATE (2022-23)
- CSC Academic All-District
- Posted a 8-10 record in doubles as No. 2
- Posted a 4-6 record along side Brolin Dorsey
- Has posted a 11-8 record in singles thus far
- Won four straight singles wins from April 1 through April 15
SENIOR (2021-22)
- Competing mostly in the fifth singles flight, Wang led the club with a 12-5 record
- Posted a 9-3 tally in flight five
- Finished 7-2 in his last nine finished matches
- Went 2-0 in doubles with fellow senior Ben Husum
- On senior day vs. The Citadel, Wang won in straight sets to close out his career at the CofC Tennis Center
JUNIOR (2020-21)
- As a junior, Wang posted a 6-4 singles record
- Played in every singles position except one and two
- Tallied a 4-1 mark in the No. 5 spot
- All but one of his six victories came in straight sets
- Went 3-2 in doubles while playing alongside a variety of partners
SOPHOMORE (2019-20) *Season shortened by COVID-19
- Went 2-0 in doubles and 1-1 in singles in the shortened season
FRESHMAN (2018-19)
- All-CAA Doubles Second Team selection
- Went 16-7 in singles play, 7-1 in flight three, 9-6 in flight four
- Clinched in come-from-behind 4-3 win over UNC Asheville, defeating Daosaengsawang 7-6, 3-6, 6-3
- Earned All-CAA Doubles Second Team honors with partner Benedikt Henning
- Duo went 13-3 on the year, 13-2 in flight two
- Spent 16 weeks in ITA/Oracle Doubles National Rankings at #36, #54 and #75
- Opened the year with a 7-6 victory over #43 Korsgaard/Ribeiro of Virginia Tech
- Won eight straight doubles matches between Mar. 11-27
HIGH SCHOOL
- Earned a 25-7 record in international competition over the past two years
- Has been ranked as high as 820 by the International Tennis Federation
- Earned a 12.25 rating from Universal Tennis Rating
