Cougars Prepare for Final Road Game of the Regular Season at UNCW

CHARLESTON, S.C. -- The College of Charleston women's basketball team (14-12, 6-9) looks to close out a four-game road trip strong with a win at UNCW (3-22, 0-14) on Sunday afternoon. Tip-off is at 2:00 p.m. inside the Trask Center. The game will be streamed live on FloSports.

- College of Charleston head coach Robin Harmony coached in her 250th career game as a division-one head coach on Wednesday night at Hofstra. In those games, Harmony has posted a 164-86 record, good for a winning percentage of .656
- The Cougars enter Sunday's game on the heels of a loss at Hofstra. The Cougars are 1-2 on their current four-game road trip
- Charleston's star point guard, Jenna Annecchiarico, showed up and showed out at Hofstra in what was virtually a homecoming game for the Baldwin, New York native. With more than 50 supporters in attendance, the 5'6" junior went for 29 points and seven assists to lead the Cougars in both of those categories
- Annecchiarico is having a season worthy of first-team All-CAA recognition, with averages of 16.9 points per game (6th in the CAA), 6.0 assists per game (1st in the CAA) and a free throw percentage of 87.3 percent (1st in the CAA)
- The Cougars may be known for their defense and in-your-face pressuring of the ball, but it has been their offense that has made big strides this season. The Cougars boast the second best scoring offense in the CAA entering Sunday's game, averaging just over 75 points per game
- Charleston has scored more than 80 points in four conference games this season. It is 3-1 in such contests
- Charleston senior forward Arynn Eady has 838 career rebounds as a Cougar, just seven behind the current division-one era record of 845 held by Breanna Bolden
- Eady is averaging 9.3 rebounds per game this season. She is on pace to finish with the second-highest rebounding average in the program's division-one era. The senior from Atlanta also has recorded eleven double-doubles this season
- Tyler Collins sits at 991 points for her career. Collins is averaging 8.2 points per game as a senior this season
- Looking ahead to March and the CAA tournament, the Cougars have just three regular season games remaining on the schedule. Charleston sits in seventh place in the CAA standings
- The Seahawks are having a tough season. With just one win over a D1 opponent and zero CAA wins, UNCW is 3-22 overall
- UNCW has lost 15 consecutive games
- Sierra DaCosta leads the Seahawks with 13.9 points per game
- UNCW leads the series 19-14
