CHARLESTON, S.C. -- The College of Charleston men's tennis team (6-7, 1-1) is back in action this weekend, hitting the road to North Carolina to face Belmont Abbey (11-15) on Saturday and Davidson (5-8) on Sunday.
The Cougars are coming off a loss to Delaware in which CofC's four-match winning streak was ended. Charleston now stands at 1-1 in CAA play with just one more conference match - the season finale vs. UNCW - left on the schedule.
Charleston got a doubles win from
Brolin Dorsey and
Johnny Wang on Tuesday. It was the duo's first win as doubles partners.
Johnny Wang also gave CofC its lone singles win of the day. Wang is enjoying an excellent individual season, leading all Cougars with a 10-3 singles mark. Wang has won seven consecutive singles matches, including nine of his last ten.
