ELON, N.C. -- The fifth-seeded College of Charleston men's tennis team saw its season come to an end on Friday in a 4-0 loss to fourth-seeded Elon in the quarterfinals of the CAA Championships.
The Phoenix won the doubles point by winning on courts two and three and were ahead on court one when the match was called. In singles, Elon won three individual matchups to clinch the match and move on to the CAA Semifinals.
The Cougars end the season with a 9-9 overall record. Charleston has just one losing season since 2010.
Andre Limon and
Johnny Wang end the season tied for the best singles record on the team at 12-5. In doubles, the Cougars were led by
Robby Krick and
Zac Larke's eight victories.
