Cougars Wrap Up Home Slate Against Winthrop

CHARLESTON, S.C. – College of Charleston plays its final home game of the season on Tuesday when Winthrop visits Ralph Lundy Field for a 6 p.m. match.
The Cougars bring a 5-5-5 record into the game and will be looking to get back to their winning ways after dropping a 2-0 decision to Elon on Saturday. Prior to that loss, Charleston had won three in a row.
Winthrop is in second place in the Big South with a 3-0-2 conference record. The Eagles are playing for the first time since a 2-1 loss at East Tennessee State last Tuesday.
The Cougars hold an 11-5 lead in the all-time series and last defeated the Eagles, 2-1, at home in 2021. Winthrop took a 1-0 victory last season in Rock Hill.
Following Tuesday's game, the Cougars head north to face Delaware on Saturday in their regular season finale with a berth in the CAA Tournament on the line.
