TOWSON, MD.—The College of Charleston women's tennis team swept Towson on Friday afternoon in Maryland in their first match of conference play.

Charleston picked up an early 1-0 lead over Towson because they picked up a win on each court in doubles.
Halli Trinkle and
Slade Coetzee defeated Towson 6-2 on court one, which improved their doubles record to 7-3 as a pair.
Nicole Stephens and
Ella Faessler picked up a 6-2 win on court two which allowed their record to improve to 8-3.
Maja Jekauc and
Klara Vukicevic on court three won their match by default over Towson which brought their record to 500.

Charleston picked up a win on each court in singles. Stephens improved to 15-4 on the season which is the most wins on the team. Coetzee followed close behind with a 13-4 record on court 1. Jekauc improved to 11-5 while
Peyton Brotzman and Trinkle progressed to 10-4.
