Quote from Coach Anastopoulo: "Charleston Southern kept throwing all kinds of things that kept us on our toes when I thought we were getting ready to clinch the match. They battled through to the last minute, a real credit to the coaching staff and the entire team. It's understandable why they are two-time Big South Champions and, in the front, to win it for the third consecutive year. So proud of the Cougars for earning the city title, it was a very difficult match and certainly a challenge and well deserved. We're looking forward to having as many people come out on Friday to honor our seniors as possible if you haven't seen
Slade Coetzee and
Nicole Stephens play in person, you're missing out come out and see them play on Friday and honor them on their senior day"
Up Next: The College of Charleston will host South Carolina State on Friday, April 7 at 1:30 p.m. In addition, the Cougars will honor their seniors
Slade Coetzee and
Nicole Stephens.
