WILMINGTON, N.C.—The College of Charleston men's tennis team fell to UNCW 4-1 on Sunday afternoon in the regular season finale in Wilmington, North Carolina.
Charleston finished the regular season at 10-10 with an 0-2 record in the CAA.
The Cougars picked up a quick win on court one by
Mattia Bernardi and
Robby Krick. UNCW on court two brought the doubles point even at one-all.
Matias Gaedechens and
Zac Larke on court three battled from a 5-6 deficit to win the match 7-5 in a tie-break which secured the doubles point for Charleston.
UNCW outlasted Charleston in singles with four wins which brought the match out of reach.
