CHARLESTON, S.C.—The College of Charleston women's tennis team defeated South Carolina State 7-0 on Friday afternoon at the College of Charleston Tennis Center.
Ella Faessler and
Nicole Stephens picked up a 6-2 doubles win on court two while
Maja Jekauc and Klara Vukecevic picked up a 6-2 win on court three. With the two doules wins, Charleston held an early 1-0 lead.
The Cougars swept singled play over the Bulldogs. Stephens picked up her 13
th match win in a row.
Peyton Brotzman battled for her win on court six where she forced a third set and finished out on top.
