Cougars Look to Pluck Hens on Sunday

CHARLESTON, S.C. – College of Charleston looks to get even on its current road trip with a match at Delaware on Sunday at 1 p.m.
Charleston began its three-game stretch away from home with a 1-0 loss at Drexel on Thursday. The defeat dropped the Cougars to 2-3-1 in the CAA, and the seven points have them tied for sixth. The Blue Hens have four draws in their six conference games and are tied for 10th with four points.
The top six teams at the end of the regular season qualify for the CAA Tournament which begins on October 26.
The Cougars have won seven in a row over Delaware and are 7-1-1 against the Blue Hens since joining the CAA in 2013. Charleston won last year, 2-1, at Ralph Lundy Field behind two goals by Delaney Dawes.
