Charleston Sweeps Away Bucs Tuesday Night

CHARLESTON, S.C. --- College of Charleston volleyball made quick work of crosstown foe Charleston Southern Tuesday night securing their third sweep of the season (25-10, 26-24, 25-14) and second in as many matches.

After a blazing hot start and 25-10 opening stanza, Charleston outlasted a resilient Buccaneer attack in the second for a 26-24 win before closing it going away in the third.

Senior middle blocker Sofie Vogel started the night a perfect 7-for-7 on attacks before finishing with a team-high eight kills. Anna Smith led the block for Charleston deterring three Buccaneer attempts while putting down eight kills.
