
Women's Basketball to Host STEM Education Day

CHARLESTON, S.C. — The College of Charleston women's basketball team will host STEM Education Day on Monday, November 6 as the Cougars welcome Pfeiffer to TD Arena to open the 2023-24 campaign. This is the tenth year that the College of Charleston's School of Sciences & Mathematics has hosted Education Day in partnership women's basketball.
The event is free to attend for 4th - 8th grade students. Participants will enjoy math and science activities beginning at 9:00 a.m. prior to the Cougars 11 :00 a.m. tip-off. Administrators can register for their school or class to attend here.
"Education Day is an exciting, fun day for all, students, and teachers, with lots of hands-on STEM activities," said Dr. Jim Deavor, professor of biology and chemistry. "It is also fun for the presenters who look forward to interacting with all the students."
