Cougarettes Earn Top Ten Finishes at UDA Nationals

ORLANDO, Fla. - The College of Charleston Cougarettes recently competed the 2024 UDA Nationals in Orlando, Florida from January 12-14 . For the first time in program history, the team represented the Cougars in three D1 categories and placed top ten in all three.
"We are excited for the future of this program! Being able to maintain top ten rankings in three D1 categories is putting the CofC Cougarettes on the map, and we hope that it will continue to attract well rounded highly competitive dancers to our school," said head coach Erica Slaughter. "We appreciate the support we receive from athletics, campus recreation, and our fans! Go Cougars!"
The Cougars placed fifth in gameday, seventh in hip hop, and tenth in jazz. All three performances can be viewed below.
