Emily Banitt had 18 kills and 18 digs as College of Charleston beat North Florida in five sets (19-25, 25-11, 25-14, 18-25 and 15-10) Tuesday evening in TD Arena.

The Cougars extends its winning streak to nine matches, improving to 12-4 while the Ospreys slip to 3-13.

Hannah Scott dished out a career-best 50 assists while
Allie Holland added 11 kills and seven blocks in the winning efforts.

WHEN THE GAME WAS DECIDED:
- Dykes recorded back-to-back kills in the fifth set, making it 10-6 Charleston. The Cougars held on, with Olivia Angell closing out the match with her fourth service ace of the evening.

CRITICAL POINTS AGAINST NORTH FLORIDA:
- Charleston hit .246 as a team, including .485 in the third set.
- Defensively, Banitt paced the Cougars with 18 digs while Tynley Smeltzer recorded 16 as the team recorded 76 in the contest.
- Angell's four service aces were a career-best for the sophomore.
- Holland and Anna Smith both tallied three solo blocks in the win.
- Scott had a career-high 50 assists as Charleston recorded 61 as a unit.

- Charleston evens the all-time series with North Florida at two.
- The Cougars improve to 2-0 in 2024 when matches go to five sets.
- CofC has held an opponent to 11 points-or-fewer in a set for the fifth consecutive match.
- Charleston finished with 13 blocks; the eighth time this season the Cougars have reached double-digits in that category.
- Dykes' 16 kills were a season high.
- Banitt recorded her sixth double-double in 2024 and 19th of her career.
- Charleston has had five-or-more service aces in seven of the last eight matches.
