CHARLESTON, S.C. – College of Charleston placed 12th in the Open Atlantic Coast Championship finals regatta in Chestnut Hill, Mass. The Cougars also finished second in the McMillan Cup and sixth in the Yale Women's regatta.

Charleston's boats earned 84 and 60 points, good for 144 points and two shy of Navy's 142, which claimed 11th.

In New Haven, Conn., the Cougars boats claimed 96 and 94 points for a total of 190, three points shy of fifth place Northeastern.

In offshore, The College took second place in the McMillan Cup, garnering 16 points. Navy won the regatta with 13.
