
Men's Soccer Set to Host #18 Hofstra on Senior Day

CHARLESTON, S.C. - The College of Charleston men's soccer team will return to Patriots Point on Saturday, October 26 to host No.18 Hofstra for Senior Day.
Entering their last regular season home game, Charleston stands 3-1-2 in conference play after a recent 2-0 win on the road against Campbell.
The Cougars tallied their first goal of the night with a corner kick from Leonardo D'Ambrosio followed by a header from Noah Gold. Charleston doubled the lead in the 57th minute by similar fashion. The Cougars defense allowed no shots on goal in 90 minutes of play, limiting the Camels to just seven shots for the day.
The Pride sits at a 10-3-2 record for the season, with a 4-3-1 record on the road. The defending CAA champions come to Patriots Point after taking down South Florida 3-1 on Thursday.
The last time these two teams faced each other during the 2022 season where the Pride took the victory on their home turf. The Cougars sit 1-5-3 all-time versus Hofstra.
Both teams are looking to secure a CAA Championship berth, with Charleston needing one win in regular season play to clinch.
Kickoff is set for 12:00 p.m. and will be livestreamed on FloFC with livestats available at CofCStats.com.
Saturday's match will also honor the team's nine seniors prior to kickoff, with Senior Day activities set to begin at 11:40 a.m. All fans are encouraged to wear maroon.
Fans from West Ashley, James Island and Johns Island are advised to plan travel accordingly, due to events being held on the connector bridge on Saturday morning.
