CHARLESTON, S.C. – College of Charleston won the SAISA Fall Women's and Open Championship regattas this weekend, claiming first place in all five of the conference champ races in the fall.

In the women's regatta, the Cougars claimed first with 93 total points. Charleston's A boat of
Emma Tallman,
Clara Murphy and
Marina Dryer had 32 points while the B boat of
Emily Alfortish,
Andrea Melnik and
Paige Lubrano had 61 points. The Cougars finished 45 points ahead of second-place South Florida.

In the open regatta, Charleston once again dominated the water, earning 79 total points: the lone school to be under 100. Charleston's A boat of
Noah Zittrer,
Clara Murphy and
Aidan Iaconis had 38 points, and the B boat of
Benjamin Dufour,
Andrea Melnik and
Garrett Grenauer had 41 points. The Cougars finished 43 points ahead of second-place Jacksonville.
