CHARLESTON, S.C. – College of Charleston women's soccer tied the Huskies 0-0 on Thursday evening.
In a tough fought battle, the Cougars ended their night scoreless to advance to a 0-2-2 record in CAA play.
Charleston tallied 12 shots on goal, with
Emma Wennar leading the Cougars offense with three shots.
Shea Vidovic aided the attack with two shots on goal along with a chance from
Faith Slimmer.
The Cougar defense stole the show, keeping the score even at zero.
Savannah Barron started in the net for Charleston, earning three saves in the first half.
Ainsley Chunn entered the goal for the second half, tallying one save to the upper left corner, which she tipped over the net.
Charleston will return to action on Sunday, October 6 versus William & Mary in Williamsburg. Kickoff is set for 12:00 p.m. and will be livestreamed on FloFC.
