WILMINGTON, N.C. – College of Charleston women's basketball overpowered the UNCW Seahawks in a 97-59 win on Sunday afternoon in Trask Coliseum.
In a dominate performance, the Cougars came out fast with a 10-0 run to start the game, taking a double-digit lead that was never lost.
Jenna Annecchiarico downed 26 points in Sunday's smackdown, adding six rebounds and four assists.
Alexis Andrews tallied 15 points, pushing her over the 500-career points mark which she achieved after seven points in today's win.
Zoe McCrary controlled the board with a career high 16 rebounds, adding 11 points to secure a double-double. Also finishing in double digits was
Anika McGarity with 14 points and
Taryn Barbot with 10.
The Cougars have now won the last six of seven matchups, holding the third-place spot in conference play.
