CHARLESTON, S.C.– College of Charleston women's tennis will be traveling upstate this weekend, facing Clemson on Saturday at the Hoke Sloan Tennis Center.

The Cougars are currently 3-0, looking to continue their winning streak after a tight win versus Coastal Carolina on Wednesday.

Charleston was able to dominate singles play to secure the victory behind three set wins from Maja Jekauc and Halli Trinkle.

Freshman Oziera Ahmad has found success in her first season as a Cougar, currently standing 3-0 in singles play.

SCOUTING THE OPPONENT

The Tigers will be playing a doubleheader, facing Georgia Southern in the morning before the Cougars in the afternoon.

Clemson is currently 5-1 on the season after taking down UNC Charlotte last week. The Tigers went 1-1 in ITA Kickoff Weekend, defeating Iowa before falling to NC State.

Doubles play is set to start at 4:00 p.m.
