CHARLESTON, S.C. – The College of Charleston women's basketball team fell to Towson 67-55 on Friday night in TD Arena.
The Cougars went neck and neck with the Tigers through halftime, leading at the break by two points. A rough third quarter for Charleston gave them only seven points in 10 minutes, creating a deficit that ended up being too large to overcome.
All Cougars struggled to find the net except for
Jada Logan and
Jenna Annecchiarico, scoring 42 of Charleston's 55 points.
The Cougars drop to fifth place in the conference, looking for a big win on Sunday versus William & Mary. A win on Sunday would put the Cougars back in the running for a double-bye in the CAA Tournament coming up in two weeks.
