Volleyball Announces 2024 Gameday Promotions

CHARLESTON, S.C. – The College of Charleston volleyball program announced its promotional schedule for the 2024 season.
The Cougars' 50th season has lots of fun instore with 11 contests that feature themes, giveaways and special events. All home matches are non-ticketed and free to attend. Specific information for each promotional game can be found below.
2024 VOLLEYBALL PROMOTIONAL SCHEDULE
Friday, September 6 vs. Yale – 7 p.m.
Theme: First Serve Friday | Home Opener
· Come out and celebrate the first match of the season!
Friday, September 13 vs. Utah Tech – 7 p.m.
Theme: Lucky Friday the 13th
· Who says Friday the 13th has to be unlucky? Fans can enter a raffle to win exclusive CofC prizes. 13 winners will be chosen and announced throughout the night
Tuesday, September 17 vs. Charleston Southern – 6 p.m.
Theme: Hometown Hero Appreciation
· Help us honor and show appreciation for our local active-duty military, veterans and first responders
Saturday, September 28 vs. Campbell – 12 p.m.
Theme: Girls Day Out
· Join us for a fun day celebrating and empowering girls and women!
Giveaway: Charleston Girl Scout patches + Charleston hair scrunchies while supplies last
Tuesday, October 1 vs. North Florida – 6 p.m.
Theme: Student Appreciation Night
Giveaway: Charleston students can enter a raffle to win an Apple Watch
Friday, October 11 vs. Towson – 5 p.m.
Theme: Greek Night
Giveaway: Pom poms while supplies last
Saturday, October 12 vs. Towson – 1 p.m.
Theme: Taylor Swift Day | Camper Reunion Weekend
· Enjoy Taylor Swift music and themed in-game content throughout the match
· All summer Charleston volleyball campers are invited back to TD Arena
Giveaway: Charleston friendship bracelets while supplies last
Saturday, October 19 vs. William & Mary – 2 p.m.
Theme: Dig Pink
· Raising awareness for breast cancer
· Fans are encouraged to wear pink!
Giveaway: Pink rally towels while supplies last
Saturday, November 2 vs. Hampton – 2 p.m.
Theme: Turn Back the Clock – 70s Day
· In honor of the 50th anniversary of Charleston volleyball, we're throwing it back to the 70s!
· Enjoy 70s music and themed in-game content throughout the match
Giveaway: Tie-dye koozies while supplies last
Friday, November 15 vs. Northeastern – 2 p.m.
Theme: 50th Anniversary Weekend
· All weekend long we will be welcoming back alumni and celebrating the 50th anniversary of Charleston volleyball
Saturday, November 16 vs. Northeastern – 1 p.m.
Theme: Senior Day | 50th Anniversary Weekend
· Join us as we celebrate our 2024 senior class before the match
· All weekend long we will be welcoming back alumni and celebrating the 50th anniversary of Charleston volleyball
