Men's Soccer Travels to Spartanburg to Face USC Upstate

CHARLESTON, S.C.- The College of Charleston men's soccer team will travel to Spartanburg, South Carolina to face USC Upstate on Thursday, August 29 at 7:00 p.m.
The Cougars kicked off the season last Thursday at Coastal Carolina, sealing a 4-2 victory. Charleston rallied back from a two-goal deficit to begin the 2024 season in the win column.
Chris Elliott got the Cougars on the board with a penalty shot goal, while Leonardo D'Ambrosio scored the winning goal to put Charleston up 3-2.
The Spartans began their season 1-1, taking a loss versus UNC Greensboro on the road, before returning home to defeat East Tennessee State 2-0.
Charleston last faced USC Upstate during the 2023 season, finding a 5-2 win at home. The two teams sit with a 1-1-1 overall record against one another.
Kickoff is set for 7:00 p.m. and will be livestreamed at ESPN+.
