D'Ambrosio Named CAA Offensive Player of the Week

RICHMOND, Va. – Assisting in another undefeated week for the Cougars, Leonardo D'Ambrosio has been named CAA Offensive Player of the Week.

D'Ambrosio's six-point weekend helped extend Charleston's win streak to six games to start the season. The senior forward opened his week with an assist in the Cougars' 3-1 victory over Queens (N.C.). Heading back into CAA play, D'Ambrosio continued his hot start tacking on five points in Charleston's 4-2 over Stony Brook. Holding a 2-1 in the second half, it was D'Ambrosio who tallied two goals to extend the lead to four and secure the victory. The Italian native also had an assist in the win.

The Cougars will return to action on Tuesday, September 17 to take on Furman at home. Kick off is slated for 6:00 p.m.
