#23 Men's Soccer Returns Home to Host Furman

CHARLESTON, S.C. - The College of Charleston men's soccer team will return home to host Furman on Tuesday, September 17. Kickoff is slated for 6:00 p.m.
The Cougars picked up their sixth win of the season in their conference opener at Stony Brook on Saturday. After going down a goal early in the first half, Matt Lenert evened the game heading into the break. Charleston came out in the second half immediately pressing, scoring three goals in the second half to take the 4-2 victory. This is the best start the men's soccer program has had since the 2007 season.
Charleston will meet the Paladins for the 38th time in program history, where Furman holds the series with a 20-11-6 record. The teams last met during the 2023 season, where the game ended in a 1-1 draw in Greenville.
The Paladins sit 2-2-2 on the season, earning a 0-0 draw at Davidson last Wednesday. Their two wins on the season came against Winthrop and North Greenville.
