STONY BROOK, N.Y. – College of Charleston women's soccer fell on the road to Stony Brook 3-0.
Stony Brook opened the scoring with a goal in the 31
st minute followed by another in the 38
th minute to take a 2-0 lead going into the break.
The Cougars began the second half pressuring on goal, tallying nine shots in the second half and a shot off the post from
Emma Wennar. Despite forcing five saves by the Seawolves' keeper, Charleston was unable to find the back of the net.
With today's results, the Cougars fall to a 7-3-1 record, looking to bounce back next Thursday, September 26 hosting UNCW. Kickoff is set for 7:00 p.m. and will be livestreamed on FloFC.
