STONY BROOK, N.Y.- The College of Charleston women's basketball team fell to Stony Brook in overtime, 87-83.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The two teams traded baskets for the first half, entering the final 20 tied up at 32.
- Charleston outscored the Seawolves 22-15 in the third, heading into the final frame with the lead.
- A three-point bucket from Stony Brook in the final seconds brought them within two of the Cougars, and their last shot of the game tied it to send the contest into overtime.
- Stony Brook took an early lead in extra time. Despite back-to-back buckets from beyond the arc, Charleston was unable to make the comeback.
LEADING COUGARS
- Taylor Barbot led the Cougars with a career-high 29 points, supported by 10 makes from the charity stripe. The sophomore has nine-straight double-digit performances.
- McKinley Brooks-Sumpter tallied 17 points on the day.
- Lara Rohkohl recorded a team-high nine rebounds with three blocks.
- Jami Hill logged 11 points, with three triples in the contest.
