Cougar Defense Dominates Delaware

NEWARK, Del.- College of Charleston women's basketball bounced back with a 58-45 win against Delaware on Sunday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
  • The Cougar defense forced 30 turnovers on the day, converting 25 points to help secure the win in Delaware.
  • Charleston held the Blue Hens to just four points in the third quarter to take the double-digit lead into the final frame.
  • Controlling the board, CofC grabbed 24 offensive rebounds on the day for 18 second chance points.
  • Four Cougars notched double-digit scoring, including 26 points coming off the bench.
LEADING COUGARS UP NEXT

The Cougars will return home for a rematch versus Stony Brook on Friday, January 31 inside TD Arena. Tipoff is slated for 7:00 p.m. and will be livestreamed on FloCollege with livestats available at CofCStats.com.
