BOSTON, Mass. – College of Charleston volleyball beat Northeastern in four sets (11-25, 25-20, 25-21, 25-15) Saturday afternoon at the Cabot Center.

With the win, the Cougars improve to 12-7 and 6-3 in the CAA while the Huskies slip to 7-9 and 3-4 in league play.

CRITICAL POINTS AGAINST NORTHEASTERN:

After dropping the first set, CofC took the final three frames, hitting .424 with 16 kills in the third set of the match.
Graduate student Izzy Marinelli finished the match with 13 kills, six blocks and a career-high nine digs. The six blocks tied her career mark.
Junior Lauren Dow recorded her sixth double-double in the last seven matches, tallying 28 assists and 11 digs.
CofC collected 13 blocks in the victory backed behind Marinelli and freshmen Caroline Noonan and Makena Parthen, who all had six blocks.
Five different Cougars had at least five digs in the match.
Freshman Jumana Martin had two kills, eight assists and 18 digs Saturday.

OF NOTE:

Charleston is 16-8 in the series versus Northeastern and have won six of the last seven contests.
CofC's 13 blocks are the sixth match this season with 10-plus blocks. All have come in the last nine games.
The Cougars have held an opponent below a .190 hitting percentage for the 11th time in 2025.
Charleston improves to 6-2 in four set matches this season.
Dow surpassed 2,800 career assists Saturday.
