CHARLESTON, S.C. – College of Charleston sailing earned a second-place finish at The Bob Bavier Team Race, fifth at the Jen Harris Women's Team Race and placed third at the LA Harbor Cup.

In its lone home regatta, Charleston went 7-2 in round one, 8-1 in round two and 1-2 in round three for a score of 16-5. Stanford won the race finishing 18-3.

At the Jen Harris Women's Team Race, the Cougars went 8-8 in their fifth-place finish. Yale won the regatta, going 18-1.

The offshore team earned third out of 10 teams at the LA Harbor Cup. Charleston had 46 points, three points behind second-place Hawaii (43) and 10 behind first-place Southern California.

The Cougars return to Annapolis, Md., to take part in the Graham Hall Open Team Race and compete in St. Mary's City, Md. at the St. Mary's Women's Fleet Race.
