CHARLESTON, S.C. – The College of Charleston women's tennis team finished the week 2-0, defeating Gardner-Webb on the road 5-2 before sweeping Benedict College on Senior Day.
The Cougars grabbed the doubles point to start the day Wednesday against the Bulldogs, going on to win three singles matches to take the victory. CofC faced Gardner-Webb early in the season, falling at home.
Charleston returned to the court on Thursday at home to take on the Tigers, honoring
Maja Jekauc, McKenzie Daniel and
Helena Huff on Senior Day. Charleston earned 6-0 wins in doubles play to take the point. Earning four more wins in singles, CofC completed the sweep, sending the seniors off with victories.
Charleston will return to the court on Monday, April 14 to face Coker at home. Doubles play is set for 1:30 p.m.
