SWAINTON, N.J. - The College of Charleston men's golf team took fourth place at the 2025 CAA Men's Golf Championship. The Cougars finished 28-over, ten strokes behind third place Campbell. Elon won the title in a sudden-death playoff against Drexel, winning with an aggregated score of 16 to 18.
Tim Bertenbreiter led the Cougars with a T4 (+2) finish for a spot on the All-Tournament team. The senior from Germany sank three birdies in the final round, ending the tournament with the third most pars of all golfers (34). Classmate
Kieron van Wyk joined Bertenbreiter on the All-Tournament team with a T7 (+4( finish.
Nevill Ruiter finished at T11 (+6), sinking four birdies and an eagle in his final CAA Championship appearance.
