CHARLESTON, S.C.- Charleston women's basketball head coach Robin Harmony has announced the addition of five transfers for the 2025-26 season on Monday afternoon.
Tyja Beans | Guard | Daytona Beach, Fla.
Beans will join the Cougars from Western Carolina, starting in all 30 games during her sophomore season. Beans averaged 12.4 points per game and 8.1 rebounds, notching double-digit scoring in 22 games.
Harmony on Beans: Tyja is a long athletic slasher that can score at all three levels. She is a perfect fit for out system and a true bucket getter who can play and guard multiple positions.
Grace Ezebilo | Forward | Nigeria, Africa
Ezebilo comes to Charleston after two seasons at Tyler Junior College, starting 31 of 33 games her sophomore year. Ezebilo averaged 11.2 points per game and 12.8 rebounds per game
Harmony on Ezebilo: "Grace is an athletic big that plays physical in the paint and can run in transition. She has great hands and can finish with either of them."
Camila De Pool | Guard | Carolina, Puerto Rico
De Pool joins the College after spending her freshman year at Fordham, playing in 17 games for the Rams. De Pool notched 165 minutes and scored 48 points in her first season.
Harmony on De Pool: "Camila is a combo guard that can initiate offense or play off the ball. She is a pesky on ball defender that loves to pick up the ball full court."
Danielle McTeer | Forward | Hampton, Va.
McTeer comes to CofC from Coppin State, starting in 25 of 28 games during the 2024-25 season. McTeer averaged 3.8 points with 3.4 rebounds, adding 14 steals and 14 assists. McTeer began her career at William & Mary, where she made 28 starts her freshman season.
Harmony on McTeer: "Dani is an experienced big that rebounds in bunches. She is an asset in two-man action and can pop and roll, catch and finish."
Chynell Mitchell | Forward | Austin, Texas
Mitchell joins the Cougars as a graduate student, starting 17 of her 21 games last season with UTRGV. Mitchell averaged 6.2 points per game and 5.4 rebounds per game. Prior to her time with the Valqueros, Mitchell spent two seasons with Alabama A&M.
Harmony on Mitchell: "Chynell is a high motor big that attacks rebounds out of her area. She runs the floor like a wing and will be effective in our pressing game being able to pick up guards."
