Bernardi Earns Third-Straight Postseason Honors

RICHMOND, Va.- Mattia Bernardi has been named to the All-CAA Second Team for singles play, tabbing his third-straight season earning all-conference honors.
Bernardi competed for the Cougars primarily in the No.1 singles spot this season, finishing with a record of 11-5. He earned two wins versus conference opponents in the top spot, defeating Campbell and Drexel. During the season, Bernardi held an eight-match winning streak, including a singles victory at Boston College.
The senior from Italy also competed in the No.1 doubles spot during the spring season, garnering nine wins.
The Cougars ended their season with a 9-9 record and a 5-3 record at home.
