
Four Cougars Earn Postseason Honors

RICHMOND, Va.- Four Cougars have been awarded postseason honors, including Maja Jekauc for First Team All-CAA Singles, Francesca Salvato and Sia Cariov for First Team All-CAA doubles, and Oziera Ahmad for Third-Team All-CAA Singles.
Jekauc picks up her second-straight First Team honors after finishing the season with a 16-7 record in the No.1 position for the Cougars. The senior from Germany ended the season with a five-match winning streak and gathered four conference wins.
Salvato and Cariov competed in the doubles No.1 position, gathering 12 wins on the season. The duo notched three conference wins on the year.
Ahmad has earned a postseason award for the second-straight season, after earning Rookie of the Year in her debut season with the Cougars. The sophomore played in the No.3 position for CofC, earning a 17-5 record on the season with five conference victories.
Charleston closed their season with a 16-10 record, advancing to the semifinals of the CAA Tournament in April.
